Is the student’s information safe, and is this account connected to the school?

Yes. Volt Credit Union is federally insured by the NCUA, and your student’s personal information is protected using the same secure systems and processes as any account opened at a Volt Credit Union branch. While the account is opened as part of a classroom experience, it is a personal account held directly with Volt Credit Union. Hillcrest High School does not store, access, or manage the account or student’s information. Plus their account will also remain with the student beyond high school and can grow with them into adulthood.
