This new feature gives you faster access to your debit or credit card, so you can start spending (responsibly, of course) without the wait.

So, What Is Digital Issuance?

Digital Issuance lets you securely add your new or replacement card to your digital wallet within minutes of it being created, no envelope, no waiting, no problem.

Whether you’re opening a new account or replacing a lost or expired card, you can start using your card almost immediately through:

• Apple Pay
• Google Pay
• Samsung pay

All directly from the Volt mobile app. (Important: You’ll need the Volt Credit Union Mobile App to take advantage of this feature so if you don’t have it yet, now’s the time).

A Quick Heads Up

While your card is ready to use digitally right away, there are a few things to keep in mind:

• PIN-based transactions may be limited until you receive and activate your physical card
• This can include things like ATM withdrawals or certain in-store debit transactions
• For online purchases, the merchant must accept a digital wallet (like Apple Pay or Google Pay) in order to use your digitally issued card

For everyday purchases using Apple Pay or Google Pay, you’re good to go.

1. Open the Volt Credit Union Mobile App
2. Select the account tied to your card
3. Tap Card Management
4. Find the digital wallet option
5. Add your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay

That’s it! Your card is ready to roll in just a few taps.
