The season of giving is here, and Volt Credit Union is excited to launch our 2025 Winter Collection Drive benefiting FosterAdopt Connect’s YouthConnect Center. This community effort is happening now through December 31, 2025, and we’re inviting our Springfield and Southwest Missouri neighbors to help us support local youth facing difficult winter months.
As part of our ongoing commitment to community impact, Volt is partnering with FosterAdopt Connect — an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families in foster and adoptive care.
Why This Winter Collection Drive Matters
Right here in Springfield and across Southwest Missouri, many teens and young adults supported by the YouthConnect Center face harsh winter conditions without the essentials they need to stay warm, safe, and healthy.
Your donations directly support youth ages 12–21 who are navigating housing instability, family displacement, or aging out of care. Every item collected through Volt’s Winter Collection Drive goes straight into the hands of young people who need support now more than ever.
What We’re Collecting
Our YouthConnect friends have shared their greatest winter needs, and we’re focusing on gathering:
- Adult-size winter coats
- Socks, underwear, and bras (all sizes)
- Hygiene essentials: deodorant, chapstick, shampoo, conditioner
- Hot Hands warmers
- Cozy blankets
These items may seem simple—but for a young person facing winter without support, they’re everything.
Where to Donate
You can drop off items at any Volt Credit Union branch, or at our Gardens AGlow Event during our Winter Collection Drive, now through December 31, 2025.
