COVID-19 Resources
Many community members have been affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, directly or indirectly. As a Not-For-Profit Financial Cooperative, we believe that it is important for us to pull together during this time. Social Distancing is important for all of our safety, but keeping our distance doesn’t mean that we cant help each other from afar. Businesses all over Springfield have had to change their normal operations in order to meet the needs of the community. We have compiled a list of how these businesses are able to serve you and how you can give back to those in need. During these uncertain times the Credit Union philosophy of “People Helping People” is more important than ever, so as a community let’s pull together and do our best to uphold it!
Restaurants
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak Restaurants around the world have had to change their business models in order to serve their communities. Here is an extensive list of Springfield restaurants and the services that the are providing at this time:
Senior Shopping
Some local shopping centers are doing their part by providing a senior shopping hour. Here are the ones that we know of:
- Walmart – 6:00AM – 7:00AM (Tuesdays Only)
- Target – 7:00AM – 8:00AM
- Dollar General – 7:00AM – 8:00AM
- Mama Jean’s – 9:00AM – 10:00AM
- Hy-Vee – 7:00AM – 8:00AM
How You Can Help
Non-Profits have been it as hard as any business during this pandemic, yet they still are looking to serve the needs of our community. With the economy taking a downturn there have not been nearly as many donations coming in. Here is a list of needs for Non-Profits in the Springfield area:
