Volt and the Stay at Home Order
We’re Here To Serve Your Financial Needs.
As you may already know, Green County Officials have issued a stay at home order that will go into effect at midnight tonight. Springfield and Green County residents will be required to stay home for at least 30 days exept to get food or supplies, exercise outside, seek medical care, care for a loved one, or go to work at identified essential businesses.
Volt Credit Union is an essential business.
What this means to you is that your favorite financial institution will remain open during our regular business hours. Due to the pandemic we are taking as many precautions as possible to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff. That being said our lobbies will remain closed during this time. We will continue offering drive thru service and scheduling appointments as necessary.
We want to encourage all of our members to use eAccess and the Volt Mobile app whenever possible in order to limit your exposure to others. Through these great eServices you can check and transfer balances, pay bills, view payment history, and even deposit checks (Mobile App only). If you have not yet been set up with eAccess please reach out via phone (417.862.0471) and we will be happy to get you set up!
Other Volt banking options include:
The Shared Branch Network – A Credit Union CO-OP that will allow you to make deposits and withdrawals at other Credit Unions that participate in the network.
The CO-OP ATM Network – A Credit Union CO-OP that allows you to use participating ATMs free of charge.
Talk to a Member Service Representative by phone at 417.862.0471.
We want to remind you that Volt is here for you, for better or worse. If you are experiencing financial difficulties during these uncertain times, please reach out and we will look into options to help you get through this. We are also offering a special Skip A Pay to all of our members regardless of the usual qualifications.
We want to make sure that you know that your money is safe with us at Volt. Volt is federally insured by the NCUA, as is the case at most Credit Unions. This insurance will cover up to $250,000 of the money in your account if you are the only person on the account, and up to $500,000 if you have a joint account holder.
Through these uncertain times we think that it is important to remember the principal that all Credit Unions were founded on; People Helping People. Through your membership at Volt Credit Union that is exactly what you are doing, you are helping your fellow Volt Credit Union members. As members ourselves, our staff would like to thank you for your help through these uncertain times and would like to offer our help to you in any way we can!
Stay safe out there, and remember we are all in this together!
Sincerely,
The Volt Team
